It is sometimes referred to as the "Paper Philodendron" due to the thin substance of the leaves. This does not seem to indicate its tolerance of low humidity (or lack thereof). I have grown this species in terraria, outdoors in a warm, shady spot, and in a greenhouse. It should also do well in a home environment if given the opportunity to acclimate. This is cosmetic due to proximity to the light on the plant racks.
